The Brunswick Heads fishing industry started in 1902, when the first oyster lease was granted for a fee of £ 50. A great spot for river fishing, the Marina is also home to a kaleidoscope of small yachts, dinghies and houseboats. The busy Fishermen's Co-op, built in 1967, supplies fresh and fried treasures from the sea.
